Hi there. So none of the major online vendors haven’t really confirmed this - but it looks like the normally available backups like the icecap battery backup are not compatible with my reflux wavepumps.

I’m looking for a battery backup. If I can get one for these that is readily available I may have to build one. The main issue I have seen with many DIY vids is that they do not auto transfer power when the power goes out meaning you need to be around when the power goes out.

That wouldn’t work for me. I live in an area that loses power 2-4 times a year due to storms and every time it has happened it has always been at night when I’m asleep.

Any advice one can give on how to go about doing this.

I also have a Jabeo return pump hooked up to the sump - but I heard a icecap will not automatically turn this on because the stock controller isn’t compatible with it (its a DCT —- the older blue one —- 12000 that runs at 10%)

Also not a fan of APC - their run times are dismal and they can be stupid expensive.
