Battery Backup for Innovative Marine MightyJet DC Return Pump?

So I thought I was done the battery backup search when I purchased the IceCap Battery Backup but it's incompatible as an error code E2 or E4 shows on the screen after 1 minute of emergency pumping.

Alas the search continues much to my dismay.

Does anyone know if the Vortech works without error codes on the MightyJet? Don't want to do another return.

Any other automatic options (out of home options) that don't involve using car batteries or other obscenities?

If that is ideal then I wouldn't mind going that route. I was avoiding the standard UPS because I thought they were designed only to keep computers running for a very short period of time so you can manually shut off your electronics without destroying them. The icecap battery advertise 30+ hours runtime for the same price of a computer UPS which I assume would be far less runtime? The long runtime of IceCap/Vortech would allowed me to go on weekend vacations worry free. If the UPS could switch back to AC power when the power comes back on it could work I think..

The MightyJet is a tiny pump, maxing out at 22watts. 1 watt is close to 1 volt x 1 amp. So 22 watts can be looked at as 22 volt-amps.

The smallest unit in that link is 350VA which should run your pump for almost 16 hours. The largest one is 900VA which would run your pump for 40 hours.

You could go with something like this at 1500VA which should last for around 68 hours.

Of course, I wouldn't expect it to last the maximum amount, but it gives you a ballpark idea of what to expect.

The bigger systems are normally needed when you run heaters that can be over 200 watts with a 50watt+ pump. That same UPS that will last you over 60 hours would last under 5 hours.
