I need to design a battery backup system for my 90g and could use some input/help. I have an Apex and would like to connect one or two EB8's' to the backup (programming for power outage of course). I'm using a Vectra M1, so it will have it's own backup (ecotech bb w/24v adapter). What I want on backup is my doser (GHL D2), Tunze Stream 3 (I'll have two, but one would suffice) and ATO (apex ATK).
The good thing is I only need 8 - 10hrs run time (in case I'm at work and can't get home) until I can hook up the generator. Budget is $500
Thanks for taking the time.

First thing I would suggest is getting a killawatt and determine the running wattage of the equipment you'd like to power. From there we can determine the amp hour rating necessary for your desired run time, then how many batteries you'll need.

Should be doable with your budget, I'm more curious about space, do you have room for 6-10 sealed lead acid batteries, or a few deep cycle car batteries?
