Battery Backup Question

I purchased a Ecotech battery backup and when I plug the power supply into the battery the indicator light on the power supply turns red. So could this mean that it could be a bad battery or bad power supply?

I know the Icecap is supposed to be charged for 24 hours for first-use. If it’s the same basic requirement, have you done that?
