Are there battery backups that are capable of running a decent amount of equipment for say 2-3 hours?

I don’t know that I want to go “whole house generator” and I don’t want gas/diesel. Just wondering if something like the Tripp-lite towers were available in a size that can run 3 or so MP40’s, a 300w heater maybe, and my return pump?

Any time my power has gone out, I know it’s been less than an hour. I just want water to continue to circulate and prevent stress.

I've never heard of a heater being on a back-up system but I certainly understand why a person would want to.
I just use a standard ice cap back-up battery to keep my gyres rolling along. they run about half of the normal intensity but the system endured a 6 hour outage without any losses or sickness following the event.

@Jon Fishman Ive been thinking about this a lot lately. If you try to put a 300W heater onto a UPS you don’t get much run time. I have a 120G reefer and I’m hoping that the tank temp can hold or would go down very slowly.

That said, Im looking at getting two Ecotech battery backups — one for my MP40 and one for my Vectra pump to keep water circulating. The Ecotech batteries apparently can communicate with the MP40 (not sure about pump) and switch to a lower power mode to extend battery life.

Im a newbie here and would appreciate thoughts on this.
