battery siphon

Has anyone used any of those battery siphons to clean the sand in your DT. They have a bag/silter sock attached so youre not really cleaning anything just sucking up the detrius.

I feel like this would be good and very easy to use every day or so in between large water changes.

I found they work for big gravel like in a fresh water tank, but when they suck up sand they clog easy. Would be great for a smaller tank.

Makes sense, I was thinking more of areas that I know have dead spots so just a little at a time
