How long before I need to step in and frag one or the other of theses? They're about 3/16" apart.

NEVER! Let them battle it out.

Battle is the great redeemer. The fire and crucible in which the only true heroes are forged. The one place where all SPS truly share the same rank, regardless of what kind of parasitic scum they were going in.

Ok, I have no idea what Chris is talking about but I would cut the coral back, the weaker coral could perish completely.

It's a quote recently used in the movie "edge of tomorrow". Hilarious if you ask me but in all seriousness I'd cut one of them back just to be safe. Some of mine have grown together without issues but some will kill the other for space.
