The answer as I recall as "65C temperature threshold, 100% fan speed, high efficiency ouput always".

The fan defaults to 60 or 80%, the temperature to 60(?), and my testing showed high output always hit thermal threshold with previous settings rendering it mute.
Mine are growing corals. I set all those parameters. I don't see them getting throttled.

Glad you like them. Mine grew corals too. I spent many hours uncovering those settings and posting threads on R2R to benefit others The only indication of throttle is to look at the temperature displayed. If you see 65C, they are throttled and a PAR meter will confirm.

Didn't mean to sidetrack thread. We also overstate the importance of PAR vs other factors

Nice tank!

I would love to go bare bottom and have Zoas grow on the bottom of the tank.
I've gone attached to my bluethroat triggers though; they lay eggs in the sand monthly. It is very cool to watch.

Good Luck.

Three to four weeks till shipping! Who can't wait? Going to be only so much to talk about until then. And a lot of planning. Everyone is is getting their game plans together.

I put my first fish and coral in my growout setup today. I wonder if the bliss will go straight in the new setup or if I will chicken out? It's only 3 weeks old with all dry rock, so we will see! I'm betting on it going in my main display frag tank.
