March entry.

if you take the time to count corallites, you might see that there has in fact been a LITTLE growth over the past month, but branching has really slowed down. Encrusting has increased and there was some fighting going on with the adjacent Vivid Purple Cap. I chipped back the purple cap after the pic was taken in case that was contributing to the slowed growth.

Here's a shot comparing current state to last Sept (fuzzy pic since I zoomed in to try to get rulers to be equal in both shots). Overall I am still happy with the Snipers and hope it re-kindles its growth.

Here’s my March update. Went out of town for 5 days last week but before that, i noticed i was getting cyano and algae. Told myself that I didn’t have time to fix that problem right away. Then when we came back, it was just everywhere! Sooo frustrated. Most of my sps lost color too, but this one is a tough one (it IS a battlecoral anyway). I also (finally) have a nub growing out of the encrusting area! So I’m kinda happy but also feels like in a rut with the tank. Here’s mine:

April entry.... For some reason I can't get a good pic top down. I think it's because my lights are too close to the water and I'm trying to stick my phone in between them and the tank. I'll try better next time
