ok you got a week on me.

I made some adjustments today. A little more feedings and little higher alk. Put a gyre in also to get more flow. Really having trouble keeping the sand down now

Yes I’ve been getting about 1”-2” of growth a day....

What's the secret? I'm only hitting 1.5" max per day. I want to see this thing grow to the size of a basketball in a week!

This a competition but I guess to be fair I’ll let you guys in on the secret.... I dose 1/4 gallon of bleach to my tank daily. It just enhances the colors so well!

Mine has mostly encrusted and if I didn’t look at the photo I would say it looks the same but it def isn’t I’m glad I joined this comp so I could see stuff like this

I lost one coral out of my Battlebox, it bleached immediately, but my contest frag looks good. It has a little more encrusting on the plug and a bump growing on one side!

I thought they stopped using carbon in the 90’s! If you don’t see any effect it’s because you didn’t use enough bleach! Just continue adding until you see desired effect

On a more serious note, a bunch of my astrea snails are spawning. Tank is milky white. Hope it's not a problem.
