I figured @Battlecorals has quite a bit of named corals he has been sending out but not enough time to get some pictures. Figured I'd start a thread on his Strawberry Fields I received back in January. Sorry for the algae on the glass. I love the fluffiness of this one and so far seems to be a fast grower. If anyone has this piece, feel free to share!

Just noticed I missed the R in the title... Not sure how to edit this lol.

I'm pretty sure only mods can edit titles. I've had several spelled wrong before.

I don't have that coral but I wish I did. I just ordered my first battlebox since he currently has a sale.
Nice! I ordered another box and get it next week. This coral has been really hardy and came in more reddish pink. I’m hoping with time it can pull those colors again.

Wow yours is growing beautifully, mine has only encrusted for a while, and it’s just starting to sprout some branches. What do you keep your parameters at?

It's looking good! At that point is when mine started to really just shoot off. Every day I feel like there are new branches.

As for parameters:
Salinity 1.026
Alk 7.9 (Trident)
Cal 410 (Trident)
Mag 1300+ (Trident)
NO3 Detectable which is 1-3 normally. Trying to bring them up to 5 (EYOS)
PO4 0.05-0.12 (Hanna)
Lighting Radion G4 Pro/T5 Hybrid at around 350ish PAR

I did have some issues with lower nutrients/carbon issues in late April that led to a few burnt tips but this wasn't affected :)

Hey just for fun, you wanna post an update pic every month of our frags? I think it’d be cool to watch ours grow out in different systems. Seems like these threads about specific Battlecorals tend to die out after a bit, so maybe we can keep this one going for a while?

I’m open to this. I’ll try to post it when I post my grow out contest frag. I’ve also gotten a few other non photographed pieces from Adam that I’ll start their own threads eventually to see if others have them.

Very pretty, but I thought the old school classic strawberry fields was acropora florida?

Does BC have their own "different" strawberry fields? This one doesn't look like A. florida?

Honestly I’m not quite sure. I’m pretty sure Adam saw that it was green and red and just named it that. It’s definitely a nice piece and really fluffy.

I figured since I was shooting pictures for the Bonfire growout, I'd update my Strawberry Fields piece. Top down pictures is Top L-R (BC Blueboy, BC Spice Invader) Bottom L-R (BC Bonfire, BC Strawberry Fields, then a little BC Frankenberry 2.0). Anyone else with this piece?
