After noticing that my two clowns and Royal Gramma all appear to have ich, I set up an emergency 5 Gallon hospital tank that I just put them in ab 30 minutes ago after cycling the tank for a couple weeks and adding some nitrying bacteria. I plan on treating with cupramine, and was wondering how long I’d need to leave the fish in QT for the ich to go away in the main tank? I hear that ich cannot survive without a fish host and there are currently no fish in the main display, but there are corals and an anemone so naturally I need to keep temp, salinity, etc the same. Salinity is at ~1.026ppm and temp is at 80 degrees F. Thanks!

76 days is what is recommended on the safe side :) Allows time for the whole cycle to be completed and the paeasites to be killed without hosts. I would continue to ghost feed the tank.
