I’m starting a new build. Going to be upgrading from a 45 cube to a 5x2 150 gallon tank. I plan to dip all my corals before moving them to the new tank. The main reason is that I want to make sure no asterina start hutch along into the new tank. I have used bayer coral dip on some zoas and some hammers with no issue.

Are there any corals that should not be dipped in bayer, or is it safe for any and all corals?

I would avoid dipping smooth skin Acropora.

I do not think a dip is going to be effective against Asterina Starfish though, often reproduction is lateral fission.
