I have a 3 zoa and 2 acan frags coming tomorrow and want to try the bayer dip. I've read a few ways to do it but am still unclear of the best way. How is everyone dipping their zoas and can I put all the frags in one bucket with the bayer mix or do I dip them one by one?

I usually do them all together but don't let the different corals touch each other. For me it's 5ml Bayer in a ziploc of saltwater for around 8 mins and then take them out, run some clean saltwater over them and then put them into another bag of clean saltwater for a min then into my tank.

One of the mods (can't remember who) recommended I use less Bayer and rinse them for longer with saltwater (like 15 mins) but I'm stubborn/lazy

I put enough water in a bucket to cover the frags and add enough Bayer to make the water look like milk. Wait 15 minutes, then put the frags into a bucket of salt water at least half way full for rinsing. I leave them there about 15 minutes. Many do two consecutive rinses. Probably a 1000 ways to accomplish it.

Zoas, I do a mix of dips, I put all of my new zoanthids through iodine, Revive and hydrogen peroxide 3% i haven't used bayer, if you do iodine dips are also helpful with zoanthids.

Like any other dip establish your ratio of Bayer to water, drip in your zoas using aquarium water so they're acclimated. Then add your Bayer to the container and wait. Once that is completed move them to a fresh container with straight aquarium water for their 'rise.' If you wanna be fancy you can just a bubbler to move the water around. Once you're done rinsing (and by all means re rinse if you so desire), you can move your frags to the tank. Be 100% sure you're not getting any of your Bayer mix (either through drops or on your hands) into the display.
