They wont act all at the same time, some chalices will be stronger then other but if the parameter is not corrected at time then you will see the one by one receding issue

i agree and i appreciate all of your postings. The mag i refered to was low, i always run my mag at 1400. I got this stunning chalice in the bag shipped united states postal service and didnt get it till 3 pm, it was packed well and in a styro box with a heat pack. Either it was declining before the shipper sent it or USPS bounced it around the truck the whole ride to here :sure:
either way it is not happy, neither is the buyer.

Well, in that case you should of bought better shipping. USPS is always nown to do that, say you get what you paid for and in the case of trusting a company to ship your 100+ corals i say fedx all the way. unless its paly's i stay with fedx.

it is not you alk they like high alk, are you sure something is not eating it, I had a rogue worm before, who loves bazooka joe taste, I would dip with revive

Is phosphate a real problem with these guys? What level should it be kept at? What level is considered too high?

ha ha i paid 50 bucks for shipping. i dont mess around when it comes to that. as a matter of fact i just drove 7 hours to NY to pick up that purple hornet colony because i no they dont do well shipping. it was the sellers fault he sent it usps, he or she could have used any shipper ups fedex air pigeon super jet for 50 bucks LOL

las do waterchanges move the sand bed every twice a month and you will never have to worry about phosphate.

That explains why.. Shipping = Stress , Acclimating to new system ( lights , parameters etc) hide it for a week and see what happens...

yea but the point i tried to get to the seller was that just because it is stressed does not mean it recedes and looses and eye. it came out of the bag missing an eye lol not my water problem. he is hidden recession stopped hand feeding, he may be good in a month or two. its just a shame how little people care about these things

You didn't post that you just got it in and lost the eye.. I know and can tell that it just got shipped that is why I asked.. Next time post the info so people that wanted to help know what they are dealing with... Anyway give it some time and should bounce back..goodluck
