be honest..how many fish do you have?

without starting a fight or getting ridiculued by people I am hoping people will be honest in their answers. i know there are guidelines and for good reason as to how many fish you can put in a tank, depending on fish size, tank size etc. I also know that the guidelines aren't always necessarily correct, especially if you keep the tank impeccably cleaned, do water changes religously etc. that being said, how big is your tank and how many fish (and wht kind) do you have in it?

Filtration system is set up to handle a 300 gallon fully stocked tank. I do 30 gallon WC every 2 weeks.

I keep large tanks and large amount of fish. I do a weekly 55 gallon water change run a large skimmer and have almost as much water in my sump as in my display. Imo theses things are a must to keep a lot of fish. My last 300 had 38 fish all of them where very happy. I asked several times

I agree 100% on this, I have 60 Gallons of water in my sump, 100lbs of live rock in sump, 150 lbs of liverock in tank, I run a skimmer rated for 300 gallons , I run reactors to help with phosphates and nitrates and I have a fuge, Its all about filtration IMO

I always thought the amount of fish was related to the open swimming space not total volume, with a very open display you could house more fish happily.
