Yes that is it’s reflection. Is that a reflection of itself on the surface of the water? That will in no way help me answer you but still curious lol
Does anybody know what this is?Yes that is it’s reflection.

I agreeI think someone got it right above. Looks like some sort of comb jellyfish.
Thanks everyone. This has been a mystery that’s been gnawing at me. To answer, most likely it came from a live rock. This is from my pod tank that I tried to grow tiggas. The rock was part of some dry rock purchase that I got from some guy on Craigslist. He was an aquarium service professional so I’m guessing these were from client tank breakdowns. This particular rock was strangely wrapped in plastic and still kinda wet. It had beautiful multicolored Coraline so that is why I risked it and put it in the tank so I could grow it or maybe find interesting life. I fed this tank home grown phyto only. I let the tank get out of control and it grew a sheet of slime algae 1/2 inch at the bottom. In grew chaeto free floating in the tank as well. And this was the notable inhabitant that developed after 4 months. The tiggas propagated at first but then we’re consumed by a wave of amphipods. So the tank was a failure. LolConcur. Ctenophores Sp.. Would be nice to narrow it down. Now I'm curious as to how it made it in there. Do you use natural seawater for water changes? Have you received new live rock, purchased new animals? How old is your system?
