Found this while walking on the beach off the Gulf of Mexico, anybody know what type of coral it is? I’m curious to see what else I can find down here in FL :)

Anybody else have any pics of cool things they found on the beach? (Coral, shells, etc.) Not sure if a thread like this already exists but I’m curious to see what other people have found while walking on the beach :)

Sanibel island Florida is probably one of the best places in the world to find shells. here is a poor sampling of some of the better shells we found One day. I say better because there are literally piles of shells there on the beaches.

Beautiful!

We found lots of cool stuff on the beaches of Curacao. Shells, critters, snails, just about everything. One place we stayed had a salt water pool on the shore that just pumped ocean water in, it had upside down jellyfish in it. Living on the sea shore is awesome, would do it every day if I could afford it :)

It’s not a coral, it’s a coral skeleton, fyi.
