anyone feel this unit is worth purchasing for a 30 gallon long?
it seems like a marineland reef capable knock off.. just wondering how everyone felt about the unit... thanks!

this is a 48 fixture 54w 1wx54 3300 lumens
i have no corols
maybe the pics might help
 
very bright in the concentrated areas.. looks like i may need 2 units though.. the spread isnt very wide it seems... I SERIOUSLY APPRECIATE THIS!
 
Are you hoping to be able to keep coral? SPS? LPS? None of the above?

Keep in mind photographs aren't really a good indicator of how bright something actually is.

P.S. - They couldn't even spell "reef" correctly on their ebay page...to me that says a lot.

i've got an established 30 gallon with 4 rbta's,4 hairy mushrooms and about 13 heads of frogspawn... all under 4 t-5's currently.. but we're buying a house and i wanted to go all LED
 
For just over the price of two of these fixtures you can get a great single fixture that will cover the tank from one of our sponsors. Check out ReefFiltration or ReefKoi Evo fixtures they're both sponsors and their fixtures have had great reviews.
