Hey everyone so in the video my main drain is really loud and and is putting a buch of air bubbles into the sump. I don't get how there is air when the part in the display is completely submerged. I put my hand over where it is dumping into the sump to try and get all the air out of the line but there is no way there is that much air in the line. Do i just need to extend the PVC further down into my sump?

I am hoping someone has helped you on this by now. I have not been here in a while. Your main drain should be fully submerged. Use the gate valve to reduce the flow going into the sump. You may need to even add more water. The idea is that only water is going down the main drain. No air at all.

I am hoping you have worked this out by now. Your main drain should be fully submerged with no air going down it. You need to reduce the flow using the gate valve going into your sump. You will probably have to add more water also. It takes a little tweeking to get that perfect spot where the water is all going down the main but not backing up enough that it starts flowing down the emergency overflow.

I know this is old…but did you ever fix this? I’m having the same issue.

The main drain should be underwater in the sump by 1-2".
The flow should be a full siphon controlled by a GATE VALVE, no ball valve here.
The emergency drain should NOT be underwater in the sump so you can hear it flowing & know something is amiss. Sometimes it can be a process to get it right & it's OK to have a trickle going down the secondary drain.
