Beaten Up Multiline Basslet

Ok that's a valid point, I will refrain from that impulse
Now it's sitting on the sandbed and looks a little lethargic. There's also a white part on the pectoral fin, BPM around 60

These close up photos help a lot…. The pectoral fin does look infected. I’ve changed my mind, I think you do need to start antibiotics. It is kind of a coin toss what you should use but my choice would be either the Neoplex or kanaplex.

Okay, I have both, I havegood experience with kannaplex so I might stick with that.
So should I just follow the dosing guide and bath for half an hour?

How about 2x the normal dose for an hour?

Pulled him out of the bath, things are kinda going south, doesn't swim like he used to (comparing with last night)
Anyways still breathing, I won't give up
@Jay Hemdal Any comments?

Thank you, im trying to stay up as late as I can so that whatever the outcome is I don't leave behind regret.
I get that, we’ve all been there. You’re doing everything you possibly could! He is in good hands. Now it’s up to him to pull through.

Dead.
Significant loss of flesh which i have no idea how.

Sorry to hear. I really thought this fish was going to make it, but evidently the injuries were just too great.

Just asking, trying to take lesson from this tragedy:
Would it have been a better outcome if I apply something stronger like the trifecta on the fish when I pull it out of my DT?

Probably won't get another fish for a few months though, I feel like I've lost too much due to weird and unexpected reasons and they all happen too fast.

I don't think so - antibiotics take 3+ days to work and there wasn't any real signs of infection early on....I think this was just too much physical damage, which cannot be fixed....sorry!
