Beating the summer heat! How do you keep those aquariums cool?

Let me just say I'm in Alabama. We haven't serviced the ac yet and it was almost 90 degrees today. It was incredibly hot. The house got to 77 give or take a degree. I got home and saw this. I made a homemade chiller. I grabbed a fan, some ice, and got to work. Opened windows for air movement. Hopefully my anemones won't croak. I keep the tank at 77-76.

RODI ice cubes. But also my ac in the house works so it’s not been an issue really in the last few years. Pa summers get pretty hot

If it is a small tank you can float frozen water/milk jugs. I keep several of these in my freezer all the time, also use them for camping ice.

If your low night time temps are cooler, open the house up and ventilate. That's an old Vermont trick, we get 80s during the day and 50s at night. Then in the morning close your windows and close your shades.
