What would you say is the secret for having clean rock work in your reef tank? would you say just blue legs and Cerths? what are some good critters for maintaining clean Live Rock in the reef aquarium. Lately i've been having an issue with my live rock looking un-attractive to my eye, on the undersides it looks like 1/8" to 3/8" of an inch of clear fuzz like crap on my live rock, I went to my spot and collected 20 more blue legs and added about 20 small certh snails, I also have 2 turbos, one emerald in my DT, a peppermint shrimp and a scarlet. Any ideas on what to add to remove or what will keep my LR looking spotless?

High flow helps keep you rocks cleaner....

There isn't anything you can do about the sponge growth that I am aware of. I'm sure there is something that will eat it...

Most of the time, that white/clear looking fuzz style looking stuff is a sponge of some sort...

Bacteria gets my vote; for a clear stringy growth out of the light. It's likely nothing to worry about. Awaiting pics....

Or that, which is alot harder to get rid of...ESP since they are on your rocks...lol...didn't think of those...

You would only think of those little demons if you have had to battle them before....so many late nights with the scalpel scraping them away....

not sure if it's viewable yet, but here's the link to the video. sorry, from my iPhone.
