Become a Partner Member Next Year! Here's Why!

So this is a straight up pimp for the Reef2Reef partner drive that happens every year. Please take this post as its meant to be, which is done with sincerity and nothing else.

When I undertook this hobby again, I have no doubt that this forum and you guys are 100% why I am as far along as well I am. You guys are like 24/7/365 reef doctor service, and very good one at that. Your also completely free! No copay, no out of pocket, FREE.

I thought i'd killed my tank one day. I had overacted, but within mins of posting about my problem I had numerous replies giving me advice and reassuring me. Where else can you get that?

When I signed up to be a partner member, I can wholeheartedly say that the prime reason for me doing that was not to win one of the raffle prizes, for me it was about getting the T-Shirt and the Jacket. I wear there both with pride when I am going to work, out at the weekend in the store, or going to my LFS. Becoming a partner allowed me to advertise this awesome place, That was my primary reason for becoming a Partner member.

Fast forward to today, and I now own a complete Neptune APEX system which, if you really want to look at it in monetary terms, cost me $250.

I think my point is. If you believe in Reef2Reef , if you CAN afford it, and you want to do something to give back to the site, then please consider being a Partner member next year. You never know, as a bi-product you just might just have that belief paid back to you!

There are multiple ways to upgrade your account. The Partner membership drive is only available for a couple of months of the year. Another option is the Supporting member which is available at any time. I'm headed out the door - @Crabs McJones, can you fill in the details? Thx.

Yup! While membership will always be free at R2R, There are two different levels in which you can support the forum. The first one is R2R Supporter. Its 25 per year or 40 for two years and comes with it's own set of perks

Partner membership is ran around september/october. Is $100 or $200 and with that you get a swag pack containing all kinds of goodies. You also get raffle tickets towards some pretty amazing prizes. One of which you can see @ShaggyRS6 won this year. Others include gift cards to popular suppliers, testing kits, and even red sea setups

There are also smaller raffles throughout the year that partner members are only apart of

I was so bummed I missed the partner member cut off. I don't care about the raffle prizes but the jacket is pretty cool. I saw a member wearing it at the TCMAS frag swap, ran to to join the partner member but found out i was too late

Next year.

I’m so bummed too! I didn’t even realize there was a cutoff. Went to upgrade today and realized it’s not even an option, now I gotta wait a year. Major bummer. R2R, take my money!
