Thanks I appreciate it. It’s an exact layout of the way I put my glass panels in. Can’t take them out. And there’s two pics. One of how it is and one of what I want. I just wanted to make sure what I had was right. All I see is a hand drawing of a pretty basic and common sump/refugium.

At work and did recent water change so was letting everything chill for a day or so. I’ll find the parameters tonight for you. Algae parameters lol for sure. But this should help usMacro algae can absorb some of those nutrients, but you should find the source first. Are you feeding frozen food?
What exactly are you parameters?
and yes only frozenMacro algae can absorb some of those nutrients, but you should find the source first. Are you feeding frozen food?

Im going to the lfs Saturday for the rest of my materials. I’ve always want to try the refugium thing. I’ll start with the chemi pure elite though. There’s a guy around my area who has a seriously nice tank. And I mean awesome. All he does is have a bag of chemipure elite in his sump. He probably also has a skimmer. I don’t remember. I have a skimmer but it’s probably too big for my tank and I don’t have the pump for it. It’s a sea storm 150. Older tech I know but it’s still in the box from when my friend bought the storage unit I got my tank and just about everything else from.Keep it simple- Place a pouch of chemi Pure Blue or elite into sump area which will lower nitrate and phosphate and keep them in check while also polishing water clear and removing any toxins IF present
There’s so much in there. I was going to use it to hold my barrier up to have the mud not be completely washed out and to slow the flow to allow for the anaerobic bacteria to better grow in thereYou might want to put the Seachem Matrix in a media bag; this allows you to more easily remove the media for cleaning.
