Hi all.

well it's been a few months (shock horror) since i've done a water test.

been a mixture of my boy being in hospital...wife having another baby (and me

) and the usual bs that fills our time.

so tonight i thought i'd sit down and run a few.

this is what i have....

ammonia.....0

nitrite......0

nitrate.....0 always has been, and been tested by two lfs's

phos.....0.13 need to get my reactors going again.

cal......534 tested this twice with hanna checker.....all new reagents

alk......7.44 not too far off, just got my kore 5th set up, just need to figure out the dosing.

PH.....8.07 tested with recently calibrated digital hanna ph tester

salinity....0.25/26 stable

temp 24.6 C

thoughts?

Sounds like a pretty stable system if that's the only bit of drift over a few months.

i've always wondered about the nitrates as i have never had a reading....ever.
I do feed the tank the red sea reef energy but not that often.
what do suggest for the nitrate dosing? what would/could i expect to see from it?
