It has been a very long time since I’ve logged in. So long, in fact, that my most recent email isn’t valid. I have had all types of aquariums... fresh and salt, pico, nano, and mega and everything in between. I’ve had a 125 gallon cichlid tank, saltwater picos reefs, freshwater nanos, a 300 gallon reef and an enormous monster reef of 500 gallons. I got out of the mega reef business ten years ago and am now messing around with a nano reef, a nano FOWLR and a five gallon pico reef.

Problem is I can’t take it anymore. My two 16 gallon nanos aren’t doing it for me so I’m looking at upgrading. Looking for suggestions on many topics. You’ll find my questions on different forums but I wanted to say “hi!”

Happy reefing!

Why, thank you all! Yes, the very minute I told hubby I don’t want a large tank and I only want freshwater I knew I wanted more. I ended up with a Fluval Flex 15, a Fluval M40 salt reef and a 5 gallon freshwater. Hubby now has a 5 gallon pico reef and daughter has bought a 13 gallon widescreen fresh, a 10 gallon fresh and a beta bowl. Lordy be! I converted the Fluval Flex to a FOWLR but still.....

So, I bought the 60 cube and will combine the two saltwater Fluvals into it. The Flex will go to my daughter who will put the contents of her 10 gallon and my 5 gallon fresh into it. The Fluval M40 will replace hubby’s 5 gallon pico. Everyone is happy!
