I would say this - without knowing the par values pre and post - and whether your radions were at their highest possible level and the other settings - its impossible to say what made the difference. In any case part of the difference was 'time'...

I actually don't understand why people use so little light in their tanks - which is why I questioned the original par, etc. If you run radions at 30%, for example, and your corals aren't doing 'well', does it make sense to add a T5 - or increase the radions up to 100%.
