Tagging along!

Added the sand, rock, and saltwater and got it started up today. 9/29/2013

The cloudy water seems have to cleared up quicker than I had expected. I saw a couple of snails and a few polyps magically appeared. They were looking a little happier after getting the much needed saltwater and light.

Clown's are cool. I lost both of these Clown's within a few days of each other. I think they were too stressed and no anemone to host yet. Not sure that would have helped or not though.

If the were tank raised clownfish, the should not have needed an anemone. Were your phosphates or nitrates high? How are you other fish doing?

They were not TR. Both are at 0. I have two Chromis and two Pajama's that are doing good so far.

I have read that nitrates and phosphates affect corals, but not fish.

Very high nitrate and phosphate are detrimental to fish, too. A high nitrate depresses pH as well.
