Late night today, so let's talk about planning! Each coral has specific needs, and sometimes can be quite aggressive when these needs get threatened by the presence of other corals! This can lead to stinging fights, or worse, chemical warfare. Some corals can cause quite a disaster. A good rule of thumb is no less than 6 inches of space between most corals unless otherwise noted. Some corals can spend their lives smacking against other kinds in the current but others will quickly throw the first punch. Keeping aggressive corals trimmed is a great way to keep them under control along with keeping the peaceful corals from growing to closely.
