Belgian SPS shallow Reef

Hi, would you tell us little bit about the Zeo-light system. what make you to stop carbon dosing and use it? Thanks

For sure!

The Zeo-light system from Fauna Marin is a Zeolite system like Kz but much easier and better for the corals... There is 5 differents components:

- Fauna Marin Reef Vitality (Vitamins and corals food)
- Fauna Marin Min S (AA)
- Fauna Marin Color Elements Red/Purple
- Fauna Marin Color Elements Blue/Purple
- Fauna Marin Color Elements Green/Blue

The particular aspect from this zeo system is that you don't add copper! But you "boost" the bacterial environment of your tank with the zeolite... Our trip to Extreme Corals (Fauna Marin Coral shop) and our long talk with Claude (Fauna Marin Boss) convince me to stop Carbon dosing (it's not really good for corals in a long-term period) and he told us to try his zeo-light system which is more natural for corals because his protocol don't use copper. And for me, it's a really important point.

You can find here the whole instructions in English for Zeo-light system!

Great. Thank you for the reply. Will read the instruction and test it out. Thank you again.

What are the negative long term effects of carbon dosing? I have never read anything documented that states there are any, i may be wrong but... Maybe hees a good salesman ;)

Since we know bacteria are living in corals, some people discovered that carbon dosing can cause RTN on long-terme period of carbon dosing! Dunno if it's true or not but Claude is an expert in corals world so...
