first of excuse my poor english writing

Well then here we go.

My name is Hans . Im 35 Y old en have three wonderfull kidds full of live and stamina.
Anyways , together with my wife we have kept reeftanks for over a decade now. the fisrt one was about 3000 liters and second 500Liters. And the nano is about130 liters
Due to some personal issues and problems with a depressed and suicidal son ( very high iq and autism) i decided to stop the 5OO liter tank. and just continue with the small one.

Everything went great until the bryopsis came. Tried evrything. you know the dril.
Right now im in the stage of quiting the hobby all te same or using the last resort flucanozole

Your English is just fine, which is good - my French, German and Dutch are all horrible!

Your tank looks OK, even with a bit of Bryopsis (which I despise!), which I'm sure you'll beat eventually. I think mine is gone, using manual removal, cleanup crew and Vibrant.

Your son has some prayers coming his way from me - what he sees in the world around him must be horrific.

Welcome home you will love it here. By the way tanks look amazing. get all the help you can get for your son and stay strong he is the most important thing right now. This hobby will always be there but if you need it for your sanity then stay with it. I know I have a tank just for that reason otherwise I'll be in jail for sure. My tank is my out to every thing.

Hi Hans! Fluconazole will be the answer! Do what the thread says to do and youll be bry free in 2-3 weeks. Sorry about your son and the challenges.

@ santamonicahelp i just have the little tank left now. This one is a modified sera 130 led (demolished the original canopy and fitted it with a IT 2040 full spectrum led light)



Officially started today with the fluconazole treatment as discripted in the tread. I did turn of the skimmer and uv . Fully turned up the streamer and now its just wait and see. Actually i cant wait.
