I just love it. I wish I had the time and knowledge to pursue. Just have done variuos cownfish in the past. But this is unbelievable. Keep up the great work Chad.

Unfortunately nothing new on the bellus. I sold off the broodstock and will be turning my attention towards different angelfish next. I've got eibli, and cocopeels coming still. Big plans to try producing some tigerpyge! May also have a pair of kingi to work with thanks to New Wave Aquaria here in MN.

Hopefully soon. We are working on some new angelfish projects. Our angels are still young, so probably won't see eggs till later this summer/fall.

We will also be setting up new tanks to better equip us for rearing angelfish.

We got to day 15 on that last batch of bellus, but lost most of them around day 8 due to our copepod cultures not producing enough to keep up. After day 8, we kept them alive on rotifers, and scrapped this batch to prepare for the next.
We are gearing up for another larval run, just waiting on our copepod cultures to mature a little bit more.

Here's a fun video we did last night showing some bellus eggs that we harvested. You'll notice that healthy fertile eggs float, while infertile eggs sink to the bottom.

We've got a small update for everyone. Our numbers have been falling, but the few angels left are growing. I'm already planning the next batch, and how we'll do things differently.
