I started seeing these things all over the glass. I'm hoping they are beneficial pods, but don't look like the pods I got before in other tanks(these are much smaller) and I never seeded this tank with pods. The only change recently to this tank is that the only clown fish inhabitant died last week, I thought it was ich but now I'm wondering if these things had anything to do with the clown's death.
Also how long does it to fallow a tank for ich(I keep my tank at 26C)?
Thanks!

Looks like harmless, beneficial copepods (the most common and popular "pod"). They can hitchhike on frags, live rock, macroalgae, etc.
