Benjamin's tank build

Hello everyone I am starting up a 100 gallon tank! Super stoked and excited. I plan on making it a mixed reef and having DIY rocks. Picking it up today!

Dimensions are:: 60" long by 20" wide by 18" high with black Ivory canopy and stand. left corner overflow.

LIGHTING: 2 Stark LED's with 4 t5 bulb. 50/50

Will post pictures up tonight! wooooo can't wait to show you guys.

I do need your help though R2R!

CORALS::
I need help with selection of a stocklist and coral list!. I am hoping to have a mixed LPS tank dominant/ and some sps along the lines of millis, montis and other tolerant sps.

FISH::
I absolutely love solor wrasses I wanted to put like 3-4 in there lol but I don't know if they will get along with others. Also planned on a few radiants as I hear they are relatively good. I'm not sure what tangs I should get and I was hoping for your input guys.

FISH:
1-4 solor wrasse
1-4 radiant wrasse.

There a little bit of sand in there but I'm waiting for the salt to finish disolving before putitng in rocks and sand. Speaking of which What sand should I put in there?!

rock scaping for the left half of the tank. The right half is going to be a few more DIY rocks

Coming along nicely. Can't wait to see more. It'll be neat to see the scape in the tank. As for sand, usually a personal choice. I like to use live sand and have mostly gone off of the coloring. Sometimes what you plan to keep will also play a role.

Like the rock structure some pretty big pieces as well. But not too much, are you going for an open scape, or is this just a portion of your scapin? Are you going to do a DSB? Also I really like the Solar wrasses as well, but I don't know about 4 of them... Sounds pretty cool though. As far as Tangs, maybe a Kole Yellow eye, or Chev. my two personal favorite. If only they would engineer a Mini, Dwarfed Kole tang and it would be happy in my 44 :-(

Thanks alot guys! The rock scape is just the first left half of the tank! I'm going to DIY a rock that's just for GSP and its going to be long almost crescent moon shape I'll upload pics tomorrow! The rock will be done by then. I plan on having that seperated so that fish can swim in between the hole which would look really cool =) plus I plan to isolate that rock because as we all know, GSP is invasive as hell haha

Looks good!! That tank has to be deeper then 18". Scape is looking good.

The rock is still wet that's why it's darker than the others and its coarser as I'm getting better at mixing the cement for the desired texture. But this looks like a good canvas to start underwater painting. What do you think?
