I think they are baby snails, but those two Berghia Adults are Quite Friendly to each other. The other two I have no idea where they are.

The ones am seeing are just copy of the adults, around 5mm in size, will take some pics wend I get home

The microscopic fast tings moving in the vid are nudibranch also.

Aaaahh THAT's SOoooo COool!!

Great to know, that the baby Berghia's are long and thin.
I did a zoom on my tiny mover. It's just a baby snail.

Will be patient,and NOW I KNOW WHAT TO LOOK FOR!! (At this point I need to look for Eggs First)

No worries mate, id say 30 days from they laying the eggs till they visible like in the vid, the hole disk they in is just around 2in for scale

So do you think these are babies from the eggs you bought or from the pair you have?

these are babies from the pair I bought, from my first eggs I messed it up bad. I’ve moved containers a few times and probably losing the babies. I had two showing up last week that we’re probably from the first online batch though, they are to big to be from the recent batch almost adult size.

one is at the back left and one at the centre, they have been hiding all this time

There’s a place local to me that sells egg spirals so I was curious how they turned out. Sounds like better luck with the adults and getting them to lay eggs.

no, you can get the eggs to hatch quite easily, I wasn’t patient enough the batch from the video was raised in a cup in the middle of my breeding tray as in the pic

a few weeks back I’ve laid the cup on its side and all must of got out

in there first week they to small to see

they almost look like tiny worms that move really fast.

from egg to being easily noticed I would say 30 days. I’ve read in most articles 15 days which isn’t true. If you give 30 days from receiving the eggs you should notice a lot of things moving around. Just avoid to expose the vessel to light so that you do t have loads of algae in it like I had on the first time I tried

I have 4 aips that I can see...I feel like I’m playing with fire because I don’t want to spend abunch of money on nudis now and have them starve before they find the few aips. On the other hand, I don’t want the aips to explode either.

For only 4 aips I would bother with nudis, aiptasia x should do the trick. Normally they will mainly explode In numbers if you feed the tank small particle foods.

I know this post is a little old but I just had some spiral eggs hatch. Just curious on what to do next far as feeding and how long before they start looking like nudi. They are inside my tank.

normally it takes from 15 to 30 days to look like nudibranch, if they in the DT they will find food on their own if in a grow out tank then you will need to collect aiptasia from your DT to feed them, as babies they won’t need many

So I have them in my display so don’t even worry about trying to feed them they will find the food there self. They look little worms at the moment.

I am just crossing the 2 month mark after introducing $480 worth of berghia. I'd say I didn't notice any change in aiptasia population in the first month in either system (120DT, 300FT).

Then I kinda stopped paying attention and poof! I can't find any aiptasia in the DT.

My FT still has a few kicking around, but the overflows are clear and they were pretty ghastly at one point.

It’s crazy how it works, mine got clear in around 2 months after introducing 3 in my display. They just multiply like crazy ;Blackeye

Great little thread this, so thanks for showing your progress.

I too have recently started adding nudibranchs, but I’ve not seen anything of the original batch of 4 that I added to the tank.

The breeding facility I set up next, was the best way to go as I can now monitor the speed they eat, breed and is a great project to run concurrent with the tank.
my first two spirals of eggs arrived around the 4 th and 13 th November, I have been watching daily and the 1st lot seem to be getting slightly bigger, but tonight some out of the ring seem to be missing.

I have little pods in the tank so I’m not sure if they’ve fled the nest or some have been eaten.

just wondering what you guys think..and do you separate the eggs so they don’t get affected by the pods.

if you got pods in there I would definitely separate the eggs as they will get eaten, normally it will take around 20 days until the larvae is visible to naked eye to.
