Having an aptasia outbreak. Peppermint shrimp didnt do anything and may or may not have survived. I wanted to get a few berghia nudis, but cannot find where to buy. Any suggestions?Thoughts on effectiveness?

Read their FAQ. All the information and estimates seem accurate.

It takes 3-4 months to eradicate aipstia using berghia.

Saltyunderground also sells them.

I just recently bought some, I think it was 11 or 12. I used reef town, in about 2 days a single rock was cleared, but i would guess for my entire 120 gallon to get cleaned, would take a few months. Otherwise they seem to work and dont let the aiptasia breed like aiptasia-x and others do. This is an expensive route though as you need to buy them in little herds, enough to start breeding and certain fish will eat them, so you need to account for that too.
I have two wrasse a ornate leopard and a dusky wrasse, luckily they haven't seen them as they come out at night and my wrasse sleep in the sand at night, but wrasse will eat them.

Mine arrive today. I have 3 large wrasses so a little concerned about introduction. Think I should wait until lights out?

Also, how did you "place" them -- like the physical handling process?

After doing what it said so on the jar to acclimate the water, i literally put the entire jar(upside down so they can crawl out on the rock) on the rock with some aiptasia, and let them come out. I didnt use the pipette for the risk of killing them. Took like 3 hours for them to all come out. Becareful since aiptasia can also eat them, hence why i used my method and let them crawl out on their own without touching them and also risking killing them.
I have 2 large wrasse, i did it with lights on, but i have tonga/pukani rock so there are a lot of holes for them to go into, but if you want to be safer you can do lights off.
