Has anyone used these for their aiptasia problem? I am thinking about ordering a few. I have set up a tank and am trying to populate it with as many aiptasiasas that I can so that when the berghia clean my DT I can move them to the holding tank so they won't die. I will pass a couple on to help fellow reefers. Any feedback would be great!!!

Tried them with no luck, They seem to have a hard time in a reef tank. They dont do well with flow and I think they get eaten.

Best to do them in a separate tank and move the rocks to that tank that need to be cleaned...

That is a wonderful idea of moving the rocks! Do you know what was eating them?

Worked awesome for me in my high flow SPS tank with wrasse even. ppl think they can order 2 or 3 and that will take care of the problem but these things are small.......you need more to increase the chance of reproduction and survival. Also wait till the aiptasia are getting out of hand before you order them so they can easily find the aiptasia, find eachother (to reproduce) and you will have success.

I bought 5 of them a few months back at friggin 25 dollars a pop!!! and they were in the tank for about a month and I never once saw them eat a single aiptasia and eventually they just disappeared , I felt like it was a $125.00 waste of money, I would have been better off buying 125 dollars worth of new fish and coral and just injected the aiptasias with kalk paste instead since that kills them right away and has the benefit of adding calcium to the tank atleast

Feel the pain with a little less coin. Peppermint shrimp. Enough said!
