Berghia Nudibranchs, eat aiptasia. 10$ each for first 5, 5$ each after that. Sizes vary but they will be from 1/2" or bigger. Some 1"+

You pay overnight shipping, will ship for Saturday delivery if you pay the extra shipping fees, otherwise will ship Monday.

How many do I need for 220 gallon reef? I have about a dozen of aiptasia. Been controlling it with Aiptasia X.

8 will get you a good control colony in 2-3 months. If you want them gone in less time you could double that.

I had hundreds in my 180, bought 8 in Oct and now the aiptasia are finally pretty much gone. So, if you are patient 8 will do it, more for faster response.

When deciding numbers it's more about aquarium size and Aiptasia numbers. The more nudis and less space the more they will bump into each other for breeding. If you have a larger system this will occur less often and take longer for numbers to increase.

Are you at the point where you have to find aptaisia to feed them?

I have some aiptasia in a 120g that are pretty large. The peppermints are keeping the small new ones cleaned up, but stay away from the large ones.

Will these eat the big ones?

Thanks!

Will these survive in a mostly wrasse tank? Mostly fairies, few leopards and a bigger melanrus

They really only go out at night, if your fish are not active at night and you have plenty of rock with lots of holes they should be ok.

I have a CBB, Mated File fish, and some Angels, was concerned that would be a problem but it hasn't been at all. They might get a few after they have been breeding but won't hurt there numbers. They start breeding DAILY! right away, lay 1,000's of eggs each time and if you start out with a decent number you will have plenty of them in 6-8 more weeks.
