Berghia Nudis...

Decided to start tackling the aptasia in my tank. There isn't many as the peppermint shrimp keep them in small numbers. I want to completely eliminate them using Berghias. I just want some advice on a good vendor and how many you recommend for a 90 gallon and 35 gal sump(aptasia in there too).

i always get my nudis from salty underground. A good price and great to deal with. They have a calculator to help you find out how many nudis would be good. also free shipping if you spend more than 75 bucks which is easy to do with nudis

Unfortunately, the peppermint shrimp will keep the berghia in small numbers as well.

Most things that eat aipstia also eat berghia (which are aipstia flavored).

Most people seem to buy from salty underground or reef town. THye both have pretty good FAQs on their sites. The idea is that the Berghia you buy first won't be doing the lions' share of the work. Their job is to reproduce and create the second generation and so one until your berghia population reaches a large enough number to conquer your aipstia population.

I bought 2 nudibranchs, and waited... bought 2 peppermint shrimp.... aipstatia started dying, now after 3 months, I see at least 1-2 nudibranchs a night and aipstatia is depleted tons.
I live in Canada, not sure the store I get them from BigShow Frags ships to you, but worth a try

I'm on my second round of Berghias and starting to think that Aiptasia isn't able to be beat. I've tried everything....boiling water, lemon juice, kalk paste, Aiptasia-X, Joe's Juice, etc. All of that stuff seems to be food to them. They go away and then come back with a vengance.

I decided to try Berghias, which got almost all of them, but if they miss just one in the tank, overflow, plumbing, etc and they come back. I'm on my second round, but I'm starting to believe that they can't be beat.
