I recently gone over to N03:PO4-4 which has left my Gyractor's redundant in both aquariums
should I be running, anything else to help keep my tanks stable both tanks are only six months old
and my readings do fluctuate quite a bit, but you hear about people running GRO, and carbon, ect, but I'm not sure, if I need to, and if my reactor is the right type of reactor, ( bio Aquatech- Gyractor)
any and all advice warmly received
thanks all
Dave

Your system will not really settle in until a year.

I have found running seeded filter media and GFO keeps my nitrates and phosphates were they should be. I stopped running any type of carbon about 6 months ago. Your reactor is fine for what you are looking to do.

GFO, Carbon, Algae, Bio-pellets, Biomedia for more surface area

Non of this is required and it depends on the system.
