Best AIO Nano

I have had the im peninsula 20 in the past and currently have a wb 20 and loved them both

Thanks everyone! I've been looking at the waterbox and have to say I am very intrigued.

While I do not have the AIO WB, I did just receive my Waterbox 35.1 and the craftsmanship is spot on. See my build thread for a review.

I do have the IM Nuvo fusion 20. If I would have to chose between the two, I would probably lean toward WB. But definitely both solid choices.

If it's any help I went with WB for my new build hehe and if I had known about WB at the time of my little nano I would've went with the 20cube so.. can't go wrong.

I have the IM NUVO 10 have been really pleased with the tank overall. Combined with the various corresponding accessories, you are able to customize the tank to your reefing goals. This is further enhanced when paired with something like AI Primes (and now Nero 3), where you can control the tank wirelessly. Additionally, the tank (especially the 10 gallon) is relatively unobtrusive and doesn't necessarily need a large amount of real estate (for cords, dosing, ATO, etc). We live in an old New Orleans house where neither the decorating scheme nor foundation is conducive for a large tank, however, the tank fits nicely on the breakfast bar in the kitchen and is often a talking point with guests (especially the motley crew of inhabitants). Lastly, IMO the platform is relatively inexpensive compared to its capabilities and overall aesthetics.

#goals!!

I have a larger WB and based off that, the smaller WB cubes are on the top of my list as I have also been thinking of a nano.

Yum . I’d eat some eggs and toast next to that all morning. Very nice!

Innovative Marine Lagoon 25/50 or the Nuvo 40 are all fantastic options. @Crabs McJones what kind of space are you working with? Personally while I think the Nuvo 10s are great, they are pretty small and get filled up really quickly, they also severely limit your stocking and scape options. I'd go a touch bigger just to keep things a little more flexible for the future. An AI Prime should do well on those Aquariums as well for low light demand corals.

Space isnt so much the issue it's the need for simplicity. Smaller water changes, no chemical needs, easy to care for. My wife's issue with the last tank was the constant attention it required. Smaller means smaller volume wayer changes, low demand corals.

I think anything in the sub 50 gallon range would work well for a softy/LPS low demand setup. I think going too small might have you tinkering more rather than less... just my thoughts... MAYBE a 25 Lagoon with AWC setup? Depending on your coral stocking your AWC should handle all your chemical needs. Fiji Cube also has a nice 22.4 Gallon cube...

The IM 20 stand can fit two 2.5 gallon buckets. My Nuvo 10 had an AWC setup with a GHL doser. Changes out 2.5 gallons a week. Just pull the buckets out from under the stand, dump one and fill the other with fresh saltwater and you're done.

Oh and I knew you couldn't stay away for long ;Smuggrin :p

Did anyone mention Fluval Evo 13.5? It's Cheap and works for my kid's. Only 6 ish months old Hahahha. Gives them a small piece of ocean to learn on. Guess they need to learn about getting a strawberry conch or a sand sifter for that yucky sand tho!
