I'm looking for the best Aiptasia predator to kill the Aiptasia? Please give me some good advice I really appreciate it!

[emoji4] Thank you

The absolute best would be a Copperband Butterfly fish.... but they are a pretty hard fish to keep being that they are very picky eaters.
If your problem isn't that bad I would put in two peppermint shrimp. They eat aiptasia and are great scavengers.
You can also make a kalk paste and just inject them and they will die.

I had amazing luck with with peppermint shrimp. It most likely would be hit or miss but they are a nice addition to a tank since they will eat leftover food and seem like the simplest way to attempt to rid a tank of aiptasia.

Good luck!

Berghia nudibranchs are the best aiptasia predators, period.
I agree 100%. You put them in the tank and nothing seems to happen but a couple months later you'll realize that you don't have one aiptasia left. I used them on two different tanks when I had aiptasia outbreaks and they wiped them out completely

Ok I check them out and they look pretty cool too! Where is the cheapest place to buy them at?

I use to have crazy good results with peppermint shrimps though I have read they are hit or miss. I got mine a while back from reefs2go which is now changed.

Another vote for Berghia Nudibranches. Just make sure to introduce enough into your system. It's effective but a slow process. Don't expect immediate results. You'll be disappointed for sure.

I bought an aiptasia eating file fish captive bred from ora. I had over 50 aiptasia in a sps reef with some zoas and lps corals.
I qtd the fish for 4 weeks and found aiptasias on frag plugs and placed those in qt with the fish to see if he would go for them and he did. After qt placed him in the DT and he demolished all the aiptasias in a few weeks time. couldnt believe it myself. But totally true. He did munch on some nuclear green deaths but thats fine, it was worth it. my tank was over run. He is still in my tank and I really like him.

I'm going to go with either a file fish or a bunch of peppermint shrimp [emoji494] bc I have a ton of Aiptasia to keep them busy for awhile!
