Ok I got hair algae and yes I know what causes it. Problem is the tank is still new and I got some from it being so young but I want it gone. I am skimming good, feeding less, minimal fish, running GFO, etc..

I am looking for know critters to eat green algae.

What say ye?

Fish, inverts, etc...

Turbo snails are your friend.... Until they die, then get them out ASAP and be sure to smell them to be sure they are dead LOL....

Scarlet Hermit Crabs, Turbo Snails, Sea Hares, and Bristletooth Tangs are known to eat Hair Algae.

Where can i order some Tuxedo Urchins? any reliable online stores for recommendation?

Believe it or not Rev, I have about a dozen Scarlet Reef hermits in my tank right now. They do seem to eat the hair algae, but it is not their exclusive diet as you know.

Ordered 50 Mexican Turbo Snail, 30 Scarlet Reef Hermit Crab, and a Sailfin Blenny. :)

Sounds like a well equipped Hair Algae assault team Rev, but if they fall short 2-3 Common Sea Hare will demolish it in no time. These were by far the best during my 'Fallow' period.

Cheers, Todd

I love these guys needles are soft. mine cruises around and picks up snails and hermits
