is hydrogen peroxide a viable method of destroying aptasia, or am I better off waiting to use a laser?

I bought a lazer and was disappointed. I ended up getting peppermint shrimp and they did the trick

You can also try injecting them with boiling water. If you can take out the rock superglue works great

I used pretty much all of the above and the brought in a matted filefish. The matted file cleaned the tank in about two weeks and now is a great addition to the tank. He does not nip at the corals either

I have always had good luck with aiptasia x. but you have to use a lot of it with repeated applications sometimes.

Peppermint shrimp for me. I've had a few aiptasia over the years and always catch them when they are small and there are only a few. I throw in a couple peppermint shrimp and they take care of the problem in a few days. I keep them for maybe a month then catch them with a bottle trap or net them during feeding. Take them back to LFS.

So AipX is a good thing to have on hand for the random nem that pops up on a new frag or something, kalk paste works well too. Nudis are awesome but they can get costly depending on what size tank you have and how many you have to add before they start breading. Filefish are good...As long as they have the taste for pest nems and not your corals (I also feel like they can't get into the tiny crevices in a lot of liverocks to eat the whole thing so you need to always have the fish to keep the nems at bay).

But I have to say hands down, my favourite choice is peppermint shrimp. Now just like the filefish, not all of them have the taste for aips. What I do is get a couple from two or three places, that way if one batch doesn't like eating them hopefully the others will.

My 2¢

Thanks everyone for your input/experience , I'm going to start with aptasia x and Ppeppermint shrimp
