I will need an auto top off unit for my new 90. What do you all recommend? I may not have a ton of space for a fresh water container under the tank. But will work with what I have. I really need one that is not known for leaks! I also do not want annoying loud alarms. I may end up getting an apex in the future. Still learning about them. Sorry if there is a thread on this already. Thanks!!!

tunze osmolator

There the best. They use an electronic eye to measure the water level. There is also the standard float switch on it for back up. The float switches instal in your sump with magnets, so it's super easy setup. Never had a problem with mine. They cost a little more than the rest but it worth it. It's not worth the risk with the cheaper ones, you will end up with a flooded tank

Spectrapure UPLC-2. As owner of both the Tunze and the Spectrapure I highly recommend the Spectrapure.

Logzor, what advantage does the Spectrapure have over the Tunze? I run the Tunze osmolator and it has worked flawlessly for 2 years. Also the pump that comes with the Tunze will fit into almost any container and has a pretty impressive head height if needed.

I picked up the Innovative Marine HydroFill - ATO Controller System and pump, we'll give it a whirl

I will second the Spectrapure UPLC-II. I have owned mine over 5 years now with zero issues. It has features and back up safety levels others do not which makes it extremely reliable and a flood would be near impossible. It also comes with the same bulletproof peristaltic pump they use in the popular LiterMeter. They don't come any better or easier to program.
