What brand is the best in quality, accuracy, longevity, warranty, ease or use and headache free,... between these ATO's, and why ?

Hydor is one the simplest. The aqua auto is good too. I prefer the Hydor because there are no moving parts. The sensors work on temperature change and are very reliable. If your monitored chamber is small, you may have to use a very small pump for the Ato. My return pump chamber is only a couple gallons total so I use an aqualifter pump. The seniors take a few seconds to register the temp change and shut off the pump. By that time it is over the alarm height sensor.

Spectrapure UPLC-II has never let me down in over 6 years of use. The ease of set up and multiple levels of safetymake it a rock solid choice.

I think the best is the tunze. The optical primary sensor coupled with a back up float is why. I have the switched socket with an avast marine diaphragm pump, and have that run through another float valve to provide a backup for the backup. I had a JBJ ato disaster so I went all out.

I have an AutoAqua Smart ATO on my 210, only been running for about 3 weeks now, so the time frame of experience is limited. So far, I am very pleased with it, has worked perfectly.

In fact, I am so pleased I just ordered another one for my 65.

I use Avast ATO connected to my Apex. No moving parts. Its works like a charm. Had it over a year and no issue, once you set the levels correctly
