Hey all,

Looking for recommendations on ATO units. Just replaced my Spectrapure unit with an IM Hydrofill titanium unit. Had it a week and it has already failed once so I'm shipping it back. I have a Hydor on my frag tank and it works fine but I liked the idea of being able to adjust the high and low with separate sensors as this is direct connected to my RO/DI and it helps to limit the resin loss. May go with another Hydor but would love some thoughts.

Thanks!

I am been looking into the same thing and I think that I am going to go with the tunze nano other than the full size tunze. I am doing this because it is $100 cheaper :)
I was kind of iffy about it at first because it was all moving parts but then I found out that the system is programed to stop the pump if it runs for more than 30 seconds or something like that so it is impossible for the system to flood :)

It's the only one I've used but I'm completely happy with my Hydor Smart Level.

I've run the tunze on my 180 for going on 4 years. No real problems to mention other than the optic sensor going bad, but the backup float saved the day. Just had to replace the sensor.

Spectrapure UPLC-II hands down. The adjustability, multiple levels of safety, ease of programming and it's 3 roller peristaltic pump which is the same as in the LiterMeter makes it by far the best choice. 8+ years and I have replaced one single silicone peristaltic tube which is a normal wear item on any peristaltic pump.
