I have used the JBJ but it messed up on me after about a year or so. It would just run and not shut off until the sump was almost overflowing. now I use this and it is great. I just run the rodi straight to it.

My jbj with an aqualufter works pretty good, but I have to check it occasionally and had turn the internal timer all the way up to be sure it fully fills the sump, would work better with a maxijet (or something with a higher flow rate) and I intend to replace the pump later. The internal timer is a failsafe for when the pump is on to be sure it does not overfill your sump or cavitate your pump in case of float switch failure.
I love the accuracy and ease of use of my Tunze Osmolator.

Tagging along to see what people say. I have never used an ATO. With the Tunze do you just need a resevoir (bucket

I have been using the Spectrapure Ultra Precise Liquid Controller II for 3.5 years now and its been bulletproof. Its similar to the Tunze but more compact and uses the same perstaltic pump as the LiterMeter.

You can also set the fill rate so it from 2 mL per minute to 200 mL per minute as safety so it could never possibly overflow even if it failed completely. It also comes with a float switch as a second redundant backup.

tunzee osmolator. I have two units going and have never had a failure with either one of them. Bullet proof reliability is all I've experienced, wouldn't trust anything else for my ATO needs to be honest.
