there is a trick i learned on you-tube that i used to catch several fish including a mean bi-color dotty-back....i blacked out my window in the room, waited a few hours until all the lights were off, then cut the all tank lights on at the same to kind of shock em....then just scooped him up in the net and that was all she wrote.

you know how when you wake up in the morning and you have to adjust your eyes to take in all that light...how you can see but you cant't see.....its the same principle here....sure it's cruel as i know i gave the little guy a heart attack but he was beating up on my platinum clown (that i had at the time) so i had to remove him (i wound up keeping him in the sump until the LFS told me to bring him over)

no guarantees but it has worked for me in the past.... in any case best of luck

Live brine shrimp or live black worms would be my first choice.. You'll just have to lure the fish into the trap though. How big is your tank? If it's relatively small, the High & Dry method outlined in the link below has always worked well for me. GL.

I had to catch mine a few months ago using a trap. He came right to my hikari shrimp when I just let some float inside it.

Spear gun. :D Jk. I had to tear my tank apart to get mine out. I tried trapping . Didn't work.

Haha six line wrasse are joffs i feel bad getting rid of mine so i kepy my girls biocube running instead of taking it down, take live brine in a fishnet and feed him everyday untill he starts comming into it then scoop em out

The diy liter water bottle with the top cut and inverted works wonders. I just made one and removed a fish yesterday in fact. Highly recommend because it's so simple and low stress for all the fish

I have one in my 150 for the past 2 years I've been trying to catch with no luck. He's the smartest fish I've ever seen. Super fast and doesn't get close to any trap or bottles. I my have to try the light trick soon. Good luck.!!
